What is going on with my Hen? Large, swollen, red under vent. *Graphic photo*

We made the difficult decision to euthanize her this evening. Pinky went downhill quickly. She was not eating or drinking and barely moving. We are heartbroken, but we know we made the right decision to relieve her suffering. Thank you all for your support.

Thank you for your kind words. Pinky was a sweet girl and we are thankful for all she gave us. At the end of her life, she taught all of us, especially my 10 year old son, valuable lessons about love, compassion and making hard choices. RIP Pinky
