So what ever happened with this gorgeous boy? Was he molting? Did he get more 'normal' later? Or is he still just as spectacular?

No he wasnt molting , just one big guy ...I call him PJ. such a gentle rooster, he has a really deep voice

looks like someone tried to do a black sex link in cochins which could be done or he's just got bad barring either way he looks pretty and fluffy and hugable

Glad to see he has turned out to be a good rooster. He just might be a barred rock mixed with a cochin. I have seen barred cochins and they are quite pretty. Is he still bossing your leghorn roosters around, or has one of them become alpha rooster ?

PS Just saw your video under youtube account, PJ might not be as tall as your brown and white leghorns, but he definitely is double their width !!! It was funny to see him take up the whole door of the your chicken coop to come out.

I did have to get rid of one of my leghorns, he started fighting with all the other roo's, and would not give up, So Now I have 3 roo;s and 12 girls to go around,
