What is the best and worst thing about the area you live in?

Best: overall, we have a pretty mild climate with no bad temperature spikes either up or down and the seasons are definitive with fall colors, snow, etc.
Worst: Not as bad as some places but the humidity can get pretty high at times

Best: Well, it's TEXAS.. lol. Love the lifestyle .. the weather (9 months out of the year.)

Worst: Dog days of summer .. HEAT .. flyin' bitin' critters.

?? .... The worst thing about my Zone 10 in BLYTHE , CA . is of course the HEAT !! But we haven't had a hard freeze here in Twenty (20) YEARS and Harvest a Crop of some kind every month out of the year !!!

Northeastern Wisconsin, aka the Northwoods.

Best: Summers are great, not too hot and not too cold. The leaves in the fall are gorgeous. We live far enough out in the boonies that no one bothers us and we can live the way we want.

Worst: Winters. The temps are so cold, and all the predators get hungry and want to eat my duckies.

In the winter I always threaten to move, the problem is roots, all mine and my husbands are here. I would miss my family too much. Now if I was rich and could buy a winter home in a warm climate, then life would be perfect!​

best thing is this is my home. I don't belong up North. We live on 11 acres, would like more but, that's enough. I love being near the ocean, but far enough the hurricanes don't bother me much. (got a underground basement) I have never lived too far from the ocean (Gulf of Mexico), my childhood was in central FL, so I can do with out AC.
I live in Alabama, and don't care of any kind of football!

Best thing about where is live is the climate. We get a little bit of all kinds of weather, but never too much of 1 thing.
Worst thing is the government!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best....I love the snow! The four seasons. After living in different countries, and states over the years, I realized I belong in the northern half of the states. I'm orginally from New England, and love it just as much as I do Michigan.

Worst....I haven't had much to complain about in Michigan other than this past year. The job market stinks, but I'm sure at some point the pendulum will swing back the other way. It always does.

Best: surrounded by the Great Lakes, lots of places for outdoor sports, fall colors, friendly people, Hockeytown U.S.A.

Worst: Our state budget for education is not that great (they just cut public preschool!), and we have the highest unemployment rate in the nation at the moment. I still love Michigan, though.

We're just the underdog.
