What is the best and worst thing about the area you live in?

    best things: fall color, ocean, pretty woods, in winter creepy crawly things die off

    worst things:winter!

    I live in Norhtern MN, 3 hours South of Canada.
    The best thing is that its green all summer here
    THe worst thing is 9 months of winter and weeks of -20F temps....

    I don't know how I could forget about taxes.

    also fresh fish and lobster should have been mentioned in best things.

    The people mainly. I live with a wonderful bunch of folks in my area. I love being close to so many rivers, creeks, and lakes and having so much land to be able to ride horses on. All the woods to be able to hunt on. I love being close to the ocean. The warm weather we have here and the not so frigid winters. I hate being cold!

    I can't think of one single thing I don't like..... [​IMG]

    I love hurricanes. I hate the desruction the can cause but I love a hurricane!! I go right out in them and sit on the porch. The wind and and the way the weather acts...it feels so wonderful!! I have even rode my horses out in them!!!
