Yeah! I like the look quite a lot. I love EEs because of their beards, although not all EEs get them...But with muffs and a beard like an EE
Where did you get it? That appears to be a walnut comb (a rose comb would have a spike), which can be produced from rose x pea comb crosses. It has muffs
Local “backyard” hatchery. Was sold as an Easter egger.Where did you get it? That appears to be a walnut comb (a rose comb would have a spike), which can be produced from rose x pea comb crosses.
My guess is that you’ve got an Easter egger hybrid, likely a green queen. I’ve seen a few of them that looked like wyandotte mixes due to having rose combs and lacing.Local “backyard” hatchery. Was sold as an Easter egger.
Oh wow. Very interesting. Stinks that’s I’m pretty sure it’s a cockerel though. My guess is that you’ve got an Easter egger hybrid, likely a green queen. I’ve seen a few of them that looked like wyandotte mixes due to having rose combs and lacing.

That’s a really nice beard!Update on the muffs. They’re definitely there. Also pretty sure it’s a cockerel. Some splotchy red spots coming in on the wings.
