Wow, 10 pages. I just don't have time to read the entire topic, so will post my observations.... Probably a repeat of someone else.
I don't think it is just women who do this. I have noticed that some men have a hard time with a woman finding another man attractive. I don't think it is a gender thing, but an insecurity thing. Unfortunately, insecurity keeps some people from complimenting their own spouses/partners, so they are often insecure about their own situation. An unfortunate vicious cycle.
If everyone could be bold enough to just treat others with kindness (which includes finding value in their traits, talents and acts, and expressing it to them) we would all be more happy and confident.
Don't stop sending out that praise. Just try to keep in void of lecherism.
