She was fine yesterday. Now she acts lethargic but talks to you. Can’t Walk well. I noticed her wing joint looks weird. Looks like something bit her? Do you know what this is? How to help her?

Do you free range? Is it possible she was attacked by something?
Untll You know more put her in a separate pen so she stays quiet.
Give her fresh water and food.
I would put some salve on the wound to keep flies off.
Other posters here will have more remidies for you.

Yes free range. I don’t know she was the last in the coop last night. I have some iodine, will that work?

If iodine is all you have, i was thinking neoisporin or triple ointment if you have it.
How is she acting? You know she may have internal injuries. Just keep her comfortable. Is she eating and drinking?
If it was a preditor bite, it will likely be back. Is the rest of the flock secure?
I hope she recovers, i love speckled susex.
I wrote a story in the story section of BYC about my favorite hen Spot, who was this breed. I had to take spot to the vet ( the subject of my story)
You may also concider the vet, but not all vets treat chickens. I had one vet tell me i "should put the potatoes on to boil".
I ended up treating my bird myself and she made it.
Please keep us updated.

Yes I have the ointments too. She is acting like she can’t walk, I wonder if it hurt her leg too. Not eating or drinking.
Yes the rest are locked up every night. We put her in a cat cage last night. I hope she gets better too.

There was something I think near their coop that night, the cat even was scared of it. I have no idea. Maybe raccoon or opossum, we have had only them around here so far.

ok, you must get her to eat and drink or she will not make it.
if you have a dropper you can at the very least give her warm sugar water with a dropper, small amounts at a time. but only is she swallows it. she is probably getting dehydrated and you must get something down her soon.
do you have any of the Quick Chick powder? that would be better than sugar water. there are other products that your farm supply will offer.

I did get her to drink some water.. but went to check on her. She didn’t make it. :( I do wonder what it was. Maybe a snake or something.

I had something similar. It was a fox bite and yours looks like it to. It may have punctured her lung. Any odd breathing, was she breathing heavily? We had to cull our buff due to this. It does not effect noise much, but she wouldn't move.

Not that I could tell. I didn’t see any fox. But who knows.. Did look like two or more puncture Holes on the wing joint.
