My 6 week old chicks go totally bananas over chick starter mixed with water! They love hard-boiled eggs (not so fond of the whites though) too. We eat low-carb, so we don't have any oats or anything in the house...I may have to swipe a packet of "regular" oatmeal from my nephews when I see them later this week, lol.
Green peas fresh from the garden have been the biggest hit so far.
Then ramen noodles, and lastly strawberries. They look at the berries for awhile before they realize it's food and then poof it's gone.

i didn't. I just gave them oats today and they went CRAZY! LOL I didn't think they would even want them because DH had been planting a few plants and was bringing them worms!
I put the frisbee in the brooder and they just ate and ate them!
We just got our peeps 4 days ago, and on the way home from Tractor Supply, a stinkbug got in the box and they went crazy over it. Needless to say, the kids and I have laughed hysterically over the game of "tackle and take it" that goes on whenever we toss a bug into their brooder! We put some apple wedges in their brooder today, and they were afraid of them, but hopefully they'll come around soon. We will have to try the oats and some of the other ideas previous posters have mentioned. We're all madly in love with those crazy chicks already!
