Another really nice Christmas movie is Love Actually, a British rom-com that is centered around Christmas and involves multiple story lines. Hugh Grant plays the Prime Minister.

My son-in-law is crazy about goofy socks. My daughter did the best this year - socks with repeated pictures of their daughter's face (in an unhappy expression) all over them. I am running a distant second, with "chicken and waffles" socks - pictures of waffles and leghorns.
