What is Your Favorite Christmas Dish? (PARTY!)

Pics
Favourite Christmas food in our house has to be the dessert, good old Pavlova, with lashings of cream and loads of fruit.
That looks incredible! :drool

The Christmas Day meal itself is an easy affair, with loads of prawns, smoked salmon, crab, array of salads and bread rolls. You just grab a plate, help yourself and dig in.

Desserts on offer range from Pavlova- of course, to jelly, trifle, brandy snaps and ice cream.

Here's the fruit cake I adapted from a recipe on this thread, sorry, I don't remember who submitted it. I substituted dried fruit for candied:

And here are some more ugly sweater cookies--I hereby challenge all you cookie bakers to come up with uglier cookies!

@ValerieJ inspired me to bake some iced Sugar Cookies yesterday, I barely got them baked and frozen before I started to devour them.

Uh-oh 2 of my favorite things - pistachios & cherries. If you're willing to share I would love to have this recipe. Mmmm mmm they look delicious!
Hope you can expand and read this. No time to type it out this morning. If you can’t I’ll type it up later. It is our favorite of all the ones I make.
