What kind of shoes do you wear out to the chickens?

TOTALLY worth the $50. They are sturdy and stable. I've never turned my ankle in these. And I love the bright colors.
When they start getting dusty, just hose them off.

I wear my wellies, or rain boots. Easy on, easy off, easy clean, off at the back door and feet stay dry and safe from chickens trying to taste my toenails!

We wear whichever pairs of sneakers have just joined the ranks of the too tattered to wear even to sports practise.
Usually by the time we get another new arrival to the group, the previous pair have more or less been worn to rags and they go in the bin. Great way to use things until they really do fall apart.

WELLIES ARE AWESOME!!!! I tried wearing crocs once and discovered (rathe painfully!!) that one of my chickies is OBSESSED with socks (and fluff and toilet roll and tissue and newspapers....). Don't paint your toenails too sparky if you are wearing flip flops because chickens like those too!!!!

A very old pair of sneakers that just slip on. One day I forgot I was wearing them, hopped in the truck and drove to Radio Shack to pick up something. They have carpeted floors. While the saleswoman was showing me some things I happened to notice some globs and spots on the carpet, and putting two and two together, I figured out what was happening.
