The most "recent" end of the world according to them ... ended in a flood!

Not sure if it "corresponds" to Biblical dating. I personally subscribe to the end of the Ice Age theory. When the glaciers melted, sea levels rose and people worldwide (because the flood is a worldwide myth/story) had to leave their homes.

Well to the ancient peoples, when their area flooded, to them it was their whole world.

One thing I have always wondered about the Noah fable. Where did all the water come from. Rain come from water that has evaporated. So in order to flood the entire earth so there was no water, they had to import some water from outer space or something. Some of the other fables are maybe possible. That one I don't think so.

I was looking this up last year and it said it was the anniversary of somethingoranother, but not the end of the world. This sums it up in good words
