I'm both happy and sad reading these updates. It sounds like she loves these geese and hopefully after all the trauma and upheaval, Junior and Trumpet will have long healthy lives. I'm glad their wings will be clipped so they can't fly.

Here's a picture of Trumpet and Junior. By the time she got him home she thought his name was Squawk

So here's Squawk and Junior at home:

The day he left I spent moping around, but I feel a lot better now. There's just too many things to do in life than worry about something I no longer have control over. I made sure she understood that my home is open anytime to Trumpet and Junior if her situation ever changes and they need a home. I did everything I could and I'm happy with that.
