What time do you let your birds out every morning?

I'm not an early riser; my hubby leaves for work at 7:30 and that's really the earliest anyone is ever awake in my house.
Since chickens need that 12+ hours of daylight to lay well, should I invest in an auto chicken door? I'm not comfy keeping the door open at night since our run is not predator proof to night animals. (at the moment, they are in the garage at night; light comes on in the morning for them but it's been coming on at 7:45).

My auto door is set for 7:45 AM year round. Not only are we late risers but predator activity is heaviest around dawn since we live next to a creek (aka a wildlife highway).

Mine come out at 6:00 am.
