What to feed our mixed-aged flock?

Our birds range anywhere from 1 month to 4 and a half months. What kind of feed should we be feeding them? I'm thinking a grower... any recommendations? We have about 25 birds

All flock/ flock raiser or, if you can find it, a grower of 18-20% protein

Grower is correct! You need to feed them grower until they lay an egg. I think you can feed any roosters the same food the hens are eating (layer feed).

When they start to lay, that is. (The hens)

You *can*, but the excess calcium in layer feed can cause internal damage to any bird not shedding it by producing eggs

Ok! I don't have a roo, and I didn't know if there is "Rooster food". Lol!

To avoid the calcium issue the same program above is simply used at all times. Many folks just accept the risk to their roos and feed layer anyway
