What to feed what to feed

so I have nine 10 week olds and I have them on organic scratch and peck “grower” feed but costal gave me the wrong feed today I should have checked. So they gave me organic 3 grain scratch. Can they have this yet? Thank you

You can toss them a handful as a treat but I wouldn't be feeding it as the only ration.

Yes they can have it as a treat, but not as their feed. Make sure you have grit available, if you don't already.

They need a complete diet, and scratch is not that. I give mine a handful in the morning, and that's it. They will eat it like candy if allowed to, and not eat enough of their nutritionally sound food as a result, and can get vitamin deficiencies.

I would take it back and get the feed you need. While you can keep it, and use it as a treat, a tiny bit goes a very long way. I reserve scratch grains as black mail to get the flock back into the run when necessary. That is the only time I use it. Your choice.
