What to put under pine shavings in nesting boxes?

I use folded up feed bags, they're free and just toss it out if it becomes soiled. Never had a problem with cracked eggs once I put them in.

That's a really good idea.. so simple and I would have never thought of that!! Lol thx

I can't take credit for it, I got the idea from someone else on here but it's worked so well I like to pass it around. On top of being free/recycling those bags, it makes cleaning nest boxes a breeze. I just pick up the folded bag during cleaning, dump out the old bedding into the run, put the bag back in, add new bedding. Since I no longer get cracked eggs I rarely need to replace the bag.
