What treat did your chickies get today?

My three girls got half a over ripe melon , which they loved and even tried to eat the skin. Sweetcorn, peppers stale bread and yoghut mixed with corn . it didn't last long:cd]

Kale, stale bread and Figs - they didn't like the figs at all...

Grapes ....a whole bag gone in 5 minutes between 12 birds, and some stale ritz crackers that have been in a ziploc baggie for 2 weeks. They loved it all!

Brown rice, a few leafs of lettuce, and some peanuts. They LOVED the peanuts!!

A whole handful of wild strawberries for my quail. They looked at me like I was a lunatic and dove for the clover leaves, instead. Time to go see if they ever ate the strawberries...


Nope. That's two days in a row, so I won't bother to pick those again. They did devour their thistle seed, though. Little oinkers! They ALL love that (button quail included).

steamed mixed vegies with an alfalfa mash. they seem to be enjoying it just fine...well they kinda picked out the beans and ate the rest lol
