Mine had a tomato, scratch, fresh grass, a few raspberries and blackberries that were left on my bushes and also some blueberries. They love them and are all usually standing around me making that sound they make when they want something. One of my Americanas flew onto my shoulder to get closer to the action.
I have a question. I know that chickens are suppose to get 12-14 hrs of light to continue laying and I was wondering if that extra light should be in the morning or at night? I've been leaving their heat lamp on for about 3 hours at night, but it messes up their roosting. I have 12 hens and 2 roos and 3 of the hens are finally laying and I want the others to start and the ones laying to continue. Can anyone help me with this one? Thanks a bunch.
