Got a lot of veggie and fruit discards at the local fruit and veggie store today. Chickens are pretty lucky.
Green grapes, cherries, raspberries, chard, lettuce, spinach, corn on the cob, oranges, watermelon and stale dated artisan breads.

I made "homemade" cat food that my cats don't care for...going to see if the chickens will eat it...fingers are crossed!

Well, it's official...the chickens wouldn't eat what I made for the cats either! They didn't touch anything I brought to them last night

Noon treat was a banana today...figured it was fair payment for 2 new eggs Plus they're a tad "chatty" today and we have a grumpy neighbor so thought we'd keep 'em busy for a little while. Will take them some yogurt later on...but put it down and run unless you want a yogurt shower! LOL
