What treat did your chickies get today?

Cooked some spaghetti noodles for them, yesterday, and it was funny! Even my 3 wk old chicks caught on to it!

I just gave our chicks some cooked steel cut oats with a little coconut milk in it. It took them a little while to notice it but once they did they were all over it!

I think my chickens eat better than a lot of people.

they got a slightly freezer-burned slice of lasagna today. Watching them pick up whole lasagna noodles is hilarious.

Im a bit late on the post but I have 5 apple trees in my back yard so what the deer dont clean up they usually get. they seem to love the tiny crab apples over the big yellow Golden's, they dont mind the reds either but sure love those little crabs. The rooster loves his cheese

I came back from the supermarket with a fresh iceberg lettuce, bought just for them while I was doing my weekly grocery shopping.

As soon as my car pulled up in the driveway, the girls and boys came running as fast as their little flat feet would carry them (they are ducks). They have learned that I spoil them every grocery shopping day. They see a grocery bag, they assume I have a lettuce for them. They are usually right.

I've been puting left overs in the run everyday. My chicks don't touch them???? Most of the stuff you all said! What the heck?
My chicks are between 6-8 weeks?

My girls (3 weeks) got food processed carrots and celery, cut up spaghetti, and a hand full of rolled oats and craisins. They are going nuts.

Everyday is a smorgus board lol. Yesterday was yogert, apple sauce and crumble mixed at which they went nuts, Cantelope and grapes. Today they got a bowl full of sunflower seeds, Cantelope , bread with every see known to man Lol. Later on ey will get there favorite...... Meal worms ! Just got two huge bags of freeze dried in the mail. There going to be thrilled.

Are your chickens as whacked out crazed as mine are over Raisens ? Mine go ballistic when they see Raisens lol. Just got done ordering ten more pounds of Raisens as they truly are my birds very favorite !

chicory endive and black bean organic tofu. I have started using organic soy-free laying pellets so I think the tofu should add that extra protein they need They LOVE the tofu

They had greens, and Raisens and that's it, oh wait they also got sunflower seeds and meal worms lol. I forgot that .
