Today BOSS, temps will be 30s for few days then back to 50s-60s till end of this month, maybe I should start my garden for their treats.

So far I've found a few worms/bugs from the rains for some of them (and they do eat their fill of worms, particularly the orpingtons. Probably why they're poops so big and.wet) but today just a few. And 3 pieces (they're tiny slices, like half a regular slice lol) of multigrain bread, just the end pieces. They loved it. They've never had bread.

In fact, I just gave it to them so they're still eating it. I'm keeping an eye out though because there was a squirrel on a tree maybe 20, 30 feet away before I gave it to them. Appears to have left but no roof yet so watching.

I'm also making scrambled eggs and French toast for myself so maybe they will get a bite

Ha - Mac-n-Cheese was on the chickens' menu here tonight too - along with some tuna casserole from the night before. Happy chickens!!

Fruit and fruit. ...went to the store and bought fruit for them and us...watermelon, bananas, raspberrys, apples. Tomorrow were gonna try mangos and pomegranate. Not sure about the seeds tho. I guess they'll pick around them.
