As long as the plants keep producing, I give mine a handful or 2 of cherry tomatoes. They fight over them.

Banana Peels, they love them. They didn't last long.

Boiled egg shells, a leftover biscuit, half a small can of wet dog food, and the green tops of radishes. Little gluttons!

We had a big party last night - lots of pumpkin carving, bobbing for apples. The chickens have spent the day running around the yard eating everything that dropped to the ground. Now they are napping in the sun. Chicken heaven!

Ok, I thought I over pampered my chickens with leftover old banana peels but after reading a few pages from you guys, I see many of you feed your chickens better than many people eat.

My ladies, had coconut, tomatoes, acorn squash guts. What they really love is pine nuts but with the price of pine nuts, it is only on very special occasions they get this

Mine get everything but poultry, plus are free range, they are like garbage disposals that give back!

red grapes and honeydew. Seems like the hens liked the honeydew more than the roos.
