Over-ripe cucumbers and watermelon. I put a little piece of watermelon in my brooder with 9 day old silkies and they hid from the "monster" for about 4 hours...

We have about a 3" thick heel of bread (we make our own) that had a few mold spots on it so I took off about an inch in the areas w/ mold and they'll get the rest. That's ok right? As long as I get all the mold areas off? It wasn't molding deep-it was about 1/8" or smaller dots of it.
