The girls had tomato and mealworms for the first time today.

Yesterday actually. Special salad:

sprouted birdseed
chopped strawberry tops
blueberries
Grape nuts flakes
toasted wheat germ
toasted flaxseed
canned mackerel

They loved it!

Rice cooked with goat milk, yogurt, and lil smokies all chopped up mixed with everything, and everything peppered! Like the movie...Gone in 60 seconds! lol

3 week old chicks and adults both got the pulp from my juicer. It was a mix of squash, carrot, kale and celery. Perfect bite sizes and they all loved it!

My girls LOVE watermelon. Since I have a five-year-old and a year old granddaughter, there are all kinds of leftover treats...cut up grapes, half eaten bananas, they eat the watermelon down to the green skin.Waffles with butter and syrup, crusts from peanut butter sandwiches...it all goes out back!

Mine just love cooked oatmeal with cut up strawberries! It's a chicken stampede for that.
