what unusual food did you feed your flock today?

We feed ours all kinds of leftovers plus anything that has been in the freezer to long.
The oddest thing we gave them was the carcus from a brosted chicken (seems wrong

went back a few hours later I could not find any of the bones none????

i haven't even let my chickens out yet because its snowing so much. we got about a foot of snow last night and it's still snowing like crazy. I don't mind an inch or two of snow bu this is too much

Not unusual, but I give them a little canned salmon, yogurt, and a dab of whatever leftovers there are from last night's dinner mixed into a little warm mash when it's cold outside.

I fed cooked barley, flax seed meal, canned mixed veggies (the 'no salt added' ones) and applesauce to bind it together. Yuuuuummm!

The head of the school Caf. gave me a big can of creamed corn so I heated some up and mixed in some scratch. I gave it to them this morning for breakfast. They wanted to know where the toast was.
