what unusual food did you feed your flock today?

Some nasty tasting granola cereal that looked good in the commercial, but didn't taste so good in my mouth.

It's perfectly OK for them. My chickens have eaten more than a dozen different types of wild mushrooms. We go picking and when we come home, we give the chickens whatever is too wormy & such. Also, I've seen them sampling mushrooms that grow in our yard and avoiding others. So, they seem to know what's toxic for them.

It was an uninteresting day today, all I had was leftover mac and cheese...they liked it though!
 
Leftover stale monkey bread soaked in warm canned milk.

It's supposed to snow again, so I thought they needed a warm meal this a.m.!
 
Ours had the soggy cereal left from the kids breakfast, Strawberry Mini Wheats, Strawberry All Bran, Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and my Captain Crunch. Then they washed it all down with fresh snow, they are so lazy they wont even walk to the waterer anymore.
