Ray-Debi... Yes I have gotten rotten eggs. IF the package/eggs are sitting somewhere & get to hot they can rot, but this time of year, I would guess old eggs.
I had a pretty bad hatch myself this time around
I don't know why or what ? I did not do anything different.... only 1/2 or less hatched.
Emvickery... I got 4/11 sizzles & 4/5 BBS Silkies. The Silkies were the winners this time around.

1 Am zipped & quit...thats it.
I also had one of my EE eggs zip & quit. Not too wet, not too dry, just quit.... Hatcher had been cleaned, disinfected and resting for a few weeks. I have 10 buff silkie eggs in there now
I saw positive movement in 9 of them last night when I set them.
The unhatched eggs have been moved to the hatching tray of the cabinet....just in case.
