Okay, I just have to say something and I hope no one takes this wrong. And I mean it in a very friendly BYC way. But most of us spend a great deal on postage for the swaps.
And we all have run late on sending them out due to illness, family stuff or just plain ole waiting for payday. As previously agreed, communication is the key to a good BYC relationship here.
Today I checked a few profile on people that owed me thing from several different types of swap threads. I have one that still owes me and others from back in September but is still on BYC creating other swap threads and is active. But yet won't return a simple email. It's not that the item owed is a cadillac or diamond ring, but it's more than that. It's a loss of trust, friendship, each time you type mine, you wonder if you will really ever get it.
I personally love getting the adorable treasures from all over the US and meeting the sweetest, generous, funny, and caring people. So I guess all I can say is if one of the BYC folks is a dear friend and you see thier name in the list, be it once or 5 times, please be nice and give them a PM. They may be more likey to answer a dear frinds PM than a strangers and they may really need a friend right now. Then you may want to encourage them to clear up thier good name. Sending much BYC love out there to all you chicken enthusiasts. Happy Holidays, Pauletta
