I do not understand how I am supposed to feed my chick,should they only have a certain amount of food,or is more food better???

give them food, they will eat and eat and EAT... so when iit gets close to empty just fill it up and watch them all run to it

You just keep a container filled with food at all times and they will eat what they need. They won't overheat like a dog would they will eat the right amount for their needs.
