What's a fair price for Mandarins?

I just ran into someone who is selling off a few of his Mandarins. what is a fair price for a breeding age pair? These are just your standard normal color. I've never had them before but I'm thinking of buying a few. Thanks in advance, Jim.

A young pair (not kin) (about a year old) will bring anywhere from $45.00 to $75.00 . A young proven breeding pair (less than 3 years old) will bring $60.00 to $100.00. It all depends on how much you want to give and how much the seller wants to sell.

Thanks for the replies. He's asking 50.00 per pair. I guess that's in line with current prices. They do seem to be very pretty, healthy birds.
