Rooster-Flite
Hens-Suzy, Henretta, Biffon(my favorite), Ola, Peace, Night star, and Night flower, Gertrude, Vladimir, Sally, Rocky, and Lulu
Cockerels-Terence, and Liam
Pullets-Dandilion(other favorite), Bethany, Scarlet, Star flower, and Sun flower, Tiffany
We have 3 browns, 1 RIR, 1 red cochin bantom, 4 black sex links, 9 buff Brahmas (hint my user), 1 dark Brahma, 1 buff orp, and 1 EE.

My have Sally my NH Red.. I did have Jack and Sally from nightmare before christmas, but poor jack something got him one night..

Luna my Black Cochin Bantam, well she's all black so luna fit

Summer, all white bantam, who turned out to be a roo then he just ended up being called jerk face

Izzy my White crested polish, well she just looks like an Izzy

Hazel - Cuckoo Maran, I was just feeling Hazel with her, it seemed liked a dignified chicken name lol

Camilla - Gray Cochin bantam, (Camilla is Gonzo's chicken's girlfriends name on the Muppet show and I am a huge Jim Henson fan

Pandora - Gray Cochin Bantam, I love greek mythology and I think it's a pretty name and I think she is pretty

I will post pictures, I promise. I have been losing a lot of babies in lockdown and recently figured out that altitude is a factor since my eggs have been shipped from low elevations. I did have a lot of early quitters when I first started hatching eggs, and I learned that incubator thermometers are finicky, even the top brands sometimes! I always use a hygrometer-thermometer in there to make sure, and peek in there at least once a day. Especially when the ambient temperature changes significantly, I find I have to make frequent temp adjustments to the bators. I am also adding a bit of oxygen to assist them at zipping time.
Do you have girl ducks for your drake? I would be very careful keeping a lone male duck with your hens! He can hurt or kill the hens by trying to mate with them!

Yes I have 2 males and 7 females BUT the one male and I checked is broody lol he had a winky and will breed. I seen him and you can tell who some of his babies are as he is a black Swedish. lol
Some of mine where drowning because they have like a double yoke thing i think its called I have 5 right now what have pipped 3 started to pip 2 hrs ago an when I checked they had drowned so brought them up with my 5 to 1 day to few hr old chicks an cleared the face on them and they are doing fine they are alive and trying to finish breaking out. the problem with a lot of mine is there is NO room an they need help. the ducks are the same way and the hatch out a week to a day or 2 early and then have the yoke. I have 7 hatch out one time only 2 lived. I had seen it with friend an helped them but did not know what all they did... but now that I know I know what to do and now I am able to save the ducks... the chicks though are hatching out on time or late but doing good but having trouble hatching out... BUT my egg shells are HARD. I even have trouble cracking them as we collect them to eat... I just started this year when my hen chicken and drake duck decided they wanted to hatch out a nest lol.
We live in PA an have a heat wave going on an I should have taken then eggs and put in the incubator BUT did not think of it till I found my old male bunny who was like 12 this after noon passed on of this heat when I went out with Ice bowls (I take bowls of ice an freeze for them and the ducks and chickens with fruits or vegges in them to help them keep cool when we have heat waves like this) well some of them egg (there was like 40) expired I have 16 still good. . but better then non)
I have been trying to keep the incubator ON LOCK DOWN but when you have different times its hard and when they need help you got to be fast. good luck to you.
OH and come to find out hubby has been collect MORE of my silkie and EE eggs after I collected the 3 lol I thought he was suppose to an been putting them in there and I think 2 of them are the ones pipping as they are really smallish eggs lol. I asked him and he was like yeah he is the only roo that goes in there with her and is old enough to breed with her an I thought you wanted me to. I just did not mark them as they are small thought you could tell. I was like YES but sometimes she lays a pretty nice larger egg and some the only hen I have that lays white lays a tiny one at times that is WHY I mark them lol. so here is hoping but still gonna place them to see what I get just them to and my speckled sussex so I KNOW its him for sure.

When I was pregnant, we nicknamed the baby Rocky. If baby would've been a boy, he would have been named Petros (means rock in Greek) and rocky was a nickname. I was a little bummed at first our baby's nickname isn't Rocky

I would be here all day naming EVERYONE on the farm lol. cats, dogs, rats, mice, turtles, bunnies, guinea pigs, pot belly pigs, and the wild critters that come around to visit lol. like some of the birds that eat right out of your hands lol.
