I hate the "beep, beep, beep ... beep, beep, beep!" our phones do before they let you answer or make a call if you have a voicemail ... makes me want to scream. I have a message alert called "Porky Pig Swearing" that about sums up how I feel everytime I get a voice mail, lol.

Sigh. Pwned and pwnt is something teens say when they "player own" someone ie (kill or out play them). It is pretty serious business these days.

Someone writes <3 to you just write back that you less than 3 them, too.

Texting is nice when you want to communicate an idea to someone without having to say it aloud. I don't really understand it otherwise. Computer chatting is my thing. I hate having to verbally communicate with most people though.

Languages evolve over time....the culture is always changing and even more so because of the internet. I type abbreviated a lot because it is more efficient and I understand it and the people I'm typing to understand it so over time it becomes habit. Problems occur with people who ONLY type or write that way.

*****I hate when people use the word "like" too much. Too many LOL's is annoying but it is tolerable as I mentally filter it these days.
