I've spent around fifty for a pair of sneakers.
I generally spend $20 or under for shoes-I wear sneakers to shreds in six months

, so for me I don't see the point in getting expensive sneakers.
Now, for dress shoes, that's a different story. I wear a hard-to-find size (9 to 9 1/2 W, depends on brand), and I need nice-looking shoes for what I do, so I'll spend a little more on them.
