What's the most you've spent on a pair of shoes?

Yeah they have that selling point that if you dont spend the money the chicken poo is on your foot.

Because my job depends on my feet (nurse) I spend $275 - $300 every 4 - 6 months on shoes that never see the outside world.

I will then bring them home for coop shoes or running errands at home that sort of thing.. but If I try and get more time out of my work shoes my back bothers me and my knees , and ankles.

I have really flat feet and I pronate (feet roll inward) I have been told by the podiatrist that i will only last about another 10 yrs as a nurse, i will then have to go to a desk kind of job like in a drs office, or risk severe disabilities in my golden years

The bonus part.. I donate a lot of my shoes that still look brand new to a local womens shelter

I spent $220 on a pair of hawt boots once.

Usually I shop for shoes at Nordstrom Rack and stick in the under 50 range. I have a hard time finding shoes that are narrow and have high arches so when I get a pair of shoes that fit, I wear them forever. I get a new pair of shoes maybe once every 5 or 6 years.
