I just need to lock in the crest while breeding out the recessive vaulted skull. As for the other guy he's 1/2 Roundhead American Game (wheaten coloring) 1/2 Asil (grey hackled with a double dose of blue so he looks almost white/cream colored) he turned out so pretty I have to hatch more this year.

I'd say with the tough economy that would be a wise economical choice. You shouldn't need much food after that.

I am just joking with you though, just so it isn;t taken the wrong way. I find it ugly, but i'm sure I have things that others would conside ugly..

Hmmmm...next bubble breed. I was actually thinking of next bubble fad in general. I'm thinking heritage, everything is 'heritage' these days. From what I can see the term is used everywhere! I figure it will wear off soon.

If I had to pick a particular breed, I would pick Silkies or Marans. Not that I want to see any breed bubble 'burst', it's nice to see people taking an interest. Some of the prices I've seen though....wow, for a chicken!

I think that the most popular breeds in the near future will be showgirls and anything that lays green or blue eggs, but that's just my opinion based on what I have read and seen. For me personally, I just want blue naked necks and maybe bantam naked necks
