42 F when I woke up 7:30 AM .

Cloudy and chilly (48F) at 8:00 am after some much needed rain the past two nights. This after being 93F on Thursday. My two broods of two week old chicks don't seem to mind since they can huddle under their moms every so often. And my six week old chicks spent their first night without their mom and are very active this morning with the BB Red Rooster x Crele Hen mixed cockerel already trying to crow.

I'm in No. Central West Virginia...it was -11 (that's not a typo, yes MINUS 11 Degrees) this morning! I hope I don't find chicken-pops when I go to feed and water this morning!

Yesterday, the radio said Alaska was averaging 40 degrees, it was -5 here at the time! I don't like the heat, but this is CRAZY COLD!

How frozen are you guys???

Minus 4 (Celsius) this morning with a heavy frost till 10am in the Snowys of Australia.

Chickens laid late so I picked up warm eggs at midday today.
