This morning it feels colder than yesterday and the sun is trying to be out, no cloud so I am expecting a clear blue sky. Let there be sunshine and blue sky only.

Woohoo, power! The dark ages are over hahaha. How have they managed?

Power outages can be so much fun (not). My father used to tell us about all the power outages he experienced growing up. His generation grew up being preppared. I have a few candles and a gas BBQ to save me lol

I have a Generac generator - starts up 5 seconds after power goes out. I also have a Woodstove and fireplace. And a BBQ

Sister and niece did ok they both had generators to keep the furnace and sump pumps running. So basements weren’t flooded and they were warm with lights, and microwave and kettle.

We are in for another round of vicious weather and have weather advisories out for snow and wind.

It’s currently -2C (29F) and really windy.

I figure work is good for a yr or more for restoration work - this wind will bring down the trees already weakened it won’t be good this week; my boss better give me a huge raise

May as well be January out there. Still under snow and wind advisory, the wind just HOWLED here until around 1:30am, keeping me up. It’s -6C at 04:15hrs. Ooops just dropped to -7C (20 F).

Very unusual for April, oh we get snow, but the constant cold is just miserable. I hope my Magnolia and Peach trees do ok.
