My banksia serrata is really putting out some large candles this winter :) Those leave will live up to their name if one is careless.
Wow that’s an amazing looking plant!

It was an amazing crystal clear morning today, the moon is at the waning crescent phase and Saturn was gleaming beneath. What a lovely sight, a bit chilly at 11C after all the heat and humidity, which is returning on Thursday.

Currently 18C (64F) forecast low tonight is 8C brrrrr! The high today was only 21C which is well below the normal of 28C (82f).

Good night all!

Gosh that’s scary. 30cm is good amt of snow, and if it’s drifting make walking hard. I assume they use snow mobiles (we call them sleds) to get to areas like that.
I'm guessing so. I'm just glad they had the good sense to call for assistance before they ended up in real trouble.

Love your Banksia Nym.
12C at 9.25AM here, sunny, same again tomorrow then Rain expected Thursday.
Hoping for fine weather Fri-Sun for our Annual Open Tournament, when people come from all over the state to play Croquet. Not me, I have been busy organising and will continue to do so, till the prizes are handed out.

Tuesday feels 89 at 6am and the sun has not even rose yet
