13c (57f) @ 10.15am...we have a forecast for “clearing rain” for the rain to clear, it has to actually has to start first and there is none on the radar.


The wind change came through late last night and brought a heap of smoke our way, surprise surprise ....BUT it wasnt so bad as to flare up the fires heading our way as much as they thought...so that was good.

our temps for the next week are more civilised, so hopefully they can get these fires out.

Saturday - 26 (78.8f) clearing shower and smoke
Sunday - 21 (69.8f) Smoke
Monday - 27 (80.6f) smoke
Tuesday - 32 (89.6f) sunny with smoke
Wednesday - 32 (89.6f) smoke and a possible showers
Thursday - 31 (87.8f) smoke and showers
Friday - 25 (77f) smoke and possible showers

So sorry OZ Chic. We are in the midst of an "interesting" mix of winter nasties. Temp. is fine at 39.9F But winds up to 45 mph are NOT!! My mailbox post is in dire straits, even with all the rocks and boulders I encircled it with.

We are to get a mix of freezing drizzle, sleet(? what's the difference) snow up to 5 inches. through the weekend. Lows of 17F to 21lF.
