Sooooo the morning after the night before.....almost 8mm in the rain gauge

not a huge amount, strange how you always think it will be heaps when it is bucketing down, but it rained for about 5 hours

rain has fallen across the fire grounds, but not enough to put them out, but with more rain coming (hope) and cooler temps, the firies should be able to get more out.

down to 88 blazes across NSW, down from over 150 last week.

we now have rain forecast from today upto monday. So fingers crossed.

10am and it is 23c (73.4f) so loving this cooler weather, and the rain has pushed the smoke away, for now

-36 C with a -43 C windchill (-32/-45 F). Tonight the forecast is -42 C with a -53 C windchill. So yeah, cold. Schools are still open and life goes on. Good business for pipe steamers and vehicle rescuers.

Thank you, some of the fire grounds are reporting good falls. the authorities are concerned now about landslides, As so many trees have had to be chopped down....just can’t take a trick these days...guess 2020 can only get better

Yesterday was 83°, today 81, here in LA (Lower Alabama). But it won't last. The weatherwitch on tv said it's supposed to drop to the low 20s this weekend. That's just too cold for down here!

I'm in Northeast Ohio....it's about 35F tonight. It's been a strange winter....we haven't had ANY snow yet!!! Bizarre!
