Currently 2 degrees Celsius here, looking at -2 tonight. Had snow fall (not seen since 1970s) ... My chicken wire enclosed area collapsed under weight of snow but chickens all safe in coop structure inside that... My silkies ventured out of their coop by midday, under the trees it was fairly dry. All repairs done by afternoon so chookies are safe

I'm still waiting for electric to be restored, no progress in 3 days. Over half the town without power.
I got to run out and get more fuel for the generator soon. There was a line out in the street yesterday. Took nearly a half hour to get fuel. GC
