I still would love to hear your lessons learned from your storm. I didn't learn a thing from mine. Just so I can become more prepared as it will happen again. For me it is only is the chainsaw blade sharp and ready? Water and sundries are always in the pantry. We did need to light the fire on the propane grill to keep DW from killing me for coffee but it lit up and I am still here. That womanbeastthing got her coffee.

I live in apartment now so I don't have any chickens

Well you could move down here and never hear that offensive language again! I never hear either the F or S words in my forecasts.

I was a bad hunter today for my vegan wife I was supposed to get an Impossible burger but bought fruit instead, mini bananas, limes, cucumber and watermelon all from Mexico so GMO/Roundup free.

Fortunately it's 10 to 20 thousand feet up.
It's supposed to divert to the south this weekend. GC

The smoke has definitely been worse this year than I can ever recall. Everywhere
