@MACCanadianCoop, I believe you about people wearing shorts at 55F. Once, when we were visiting friends in Thunder Bay, they said they would come down to Grand Marais, MN, where we were staying IF they could borrow a truck with air conditioning. It was going to hit 70 degrees Fahrenheit that day; it was all we could do not to chuckle.

Again today, northern Iowa is skipping spring and heading straight to summer. By afternoon, it is predicted to be 94 degrees. It's 71 right now at 5 a.m.

Lol that's a bit extreme even for me, but then Thunder Bay is quite a ways north of where I am. *I* don't wear shorts until it's mid 20s at least, but guaranteed there are people walking around in them as soon as the temps are above freezing.
