What's the temperature where you are???

The silkies that live down on the corner from me were all out enjoying a peck around in the drizzle yesterday. It's funny when my dogs see them out .. I'm sure they're second guessing themselves having just helped round up ours :gig
Ours stay out in the rain too. They know the bugs and worms are always easier to get when it rains. The other chickens that run to the coop don't know what they're missing!

It's supposed to be 110+ today. We have a thermometer and camera inside the coop. They have shade, fans, and a mister. We'll replace ice blocks and ice in their waterers throughout the day.

We have three cooling boxes in the house that can hold 6 chickens in case anyone needs to be brought indoors. The coop is right outside the kitchen door so it's easy to check on them and bring them inside quickly if they're overheating. They're still so young, 12 and 9 weeks. It's going to be a rough first summer for them.
