Monday morning at 620 am was nice like yesterday morning and last night at 8 pm the apartment complex pool was full of kids and I thought the pool closed at 8pm an it was still hot in the upper 90’s

Heavy rain and thunderstorms forecast across Queensland, with potential for localised flash flooding​

Heavy rain could lead to flash flooding across south-east Queensland this week, with the weather bureau warning of dangerous surf conditions and thunderstorms.

Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) forecaster Shane Kennedy said the "pretty steady rain" would continue until Wednesday, after the wet weather settled in on Monday morning.

He said much of the rainfall would most likely be north of the Sunshine Coast, between Hervey Bay and Yeppoon.

In Brisbane and surrounds, thunderstorms could push daily totals into the range of 40 to 70mm in coming days
