WTH, 5 degrees. Went to let the birds out at 5:30 AM and had no takers. Had to leave the faucets on a slow drip last night.

I live on the southeast coast of Australia, it’s summer here. It’s 21 degrees Celsius which is about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. It was 23 degrees C (73 degrees F) yesterday which isn’t that bad but it didn’t help that I was cleaning the chock coop all day in the blistering sun (the sun is a big problem here in Australia). Lugging a wheelbarrow of poop and bedding up and down a hill is bad enough, but try it in the Aussie sun. In case you haven’t noticed I love complaining about small things, it was actually pretty nice. I went for a swim after, the water was great.

Blistering sun? I wish! It is cold in Wollongong.
