What's the temperature where you are???

How many times has it snowed in south Texas in the last 39 years ?

I have never seen 13.5 inches of snow in real life that I can remember
I went to New York as a toddler but I don’t remember
Here's a list going back to 1947.
Most snow to fall in one day during recent years in San Antonio

I’m warning you, Gale!

Wednesday 15th of January 12.12p.m. Mostly sunny. Gusty and warm! 16.7 / 22.2kph NNE, Hg 51%, 24C / 75.2F top of 29C / 84F. Showers. Possible late storm. Hazardous surf. Coastal hazard warning. Marine wind warning.

Moon is 97%

Weather Situation: A cold front and its associated trough are forecast to enter the far south coast later today and cross remaining coasts through Thursday with strong southerly winds and large powerful southerly swells in its wake. Strong south to southeasterly winds may remain during the later part of the week and into the weekend as a low pressure system develops off the north coast, continuing to drive the powerful swell towards the coast.

VERY HEAVY SURF which may lead to localised damage and coastal erosion is likely to develop about exposed coasts between Ulladulla and Broken Bay during Thursday, extending north to Seal Rocks Thursday evening and to Smoky Cape during Friday. These conditions are likely to persist into Saturday north of Port Hacking.

Beach conditions in these areas could be dangerous and people should stay well away from the surf and surf exposed areas.

Locations which may be affected include Port Kembla, Wollongong, Sydney, Terrigal, Norah Head, Newcastle, and Port Macquarie.

This is a long distance! My son lives at Batemans Bay - that's a 3hr drive from here. You can see kangaroos on the beach there, btw.

Is this normal this time of year for you? Seems everyone is having turbulent weather this season.
