How can it feel warmer than the actual temp ?

36 degrees warmer this morning than yesterday, 16F at 7.30 am.

Saturday 737am 30f29 frost on cars this morning is no big deal now that I have seen snow

I forgot my camera earlier to take pictures of what I see that is left of our snow
The buses are finally running today and mobile is opened back up some road detours but that is not uncommon because we have them when it rains due to flooding
There is a very small patch left in the shade in first picture
And a little on the roof in the second picture and that’s all I can see from my patio
I did walk part way to the back yesterday and still saw a lot more snow on the backside of the complex that has a lot more
Shade back there but I forgot my camera

Humid and hot, if this keep going for a few more days we will have storm which is to be expected.
High humidity = rain, prolonged high humidity = storm.
I had refilled my chicken runs with pine barks, and just hope for the best.
I dream of being at the beach, sitting under a cool nice shade tree and sipping cold drink.... I can just head out now, but I am not sure if my feather kids will appreciate me leaving them to fence for themselves in this heat.

I feel the same with the kiddos here - I think they would not be happy if I abandoned them to the cold, and went to the beach 🏝
