Yesterday, the radio said Alaska was averaging 40 degrees, it was -5 here at the time! I don't like the heat, but this is CRAZY COLD!
How frozen are you guys???

I begged stole and borrowed any cardboard I could scrounge up, to insulate the coop from the negative 30 temps here in Ohio. I have 3 space heaters going in the 10x10 coop, and have closed off any potential air drafts.
All the girls are high enough to get in the warm zone. Temps have been going up, so the girls will be getting a reprieve soon. They are starting to venture outside again.

Me, too! The ocean has been my lifelong best friend. I was born less than a mile from the Pacific. It is my happy place.
